Who we are
ReCopied is a macOS application published by Corebean ("we," "us"). You can reach us through our contact form.
Information we collect
We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal information on our servers, because we don't operate servers that receive your data. ReCopied has no user accounts and requires no sign-in.
Your clipboard data
ReCopied keeps a history of what you copy so you can find and reuse it. This history (text, links, images, files, and related metadata) is stored locally on your Mac in the app's container. It is not sent to us or to any third party.
- You control your history: delete individual clippings, erase all history, or set how much is kept in Settings.
- ReCopied automatically skips content that apps mark as sensitive, so passwords and one-time codes are not captured.
Network activity
ReCopied works offline. The one exception: when you copy a web link, the app may fetch a preview (page title, thumbnail, or icon) directly from that URL using Apple's system LinkPresentation service. These requests go to the website you copied — not to us — and we do not log or receive them. You are not otherwise tracked.
System permissions
To paste directly into other apps, ReCopied asks for macOS Accessibility permission. It's optional, used only to deliver the paste keystroke to the app you choose, and grants us no access to your data. Revoke it anytime in System Settings.
Analytics & tracking
ReCopied contains no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs.
Purchases
If you buy ReCopied through the Mac App Store, the transaction is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive your payment details.
Children
ReCopied is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
